Be careful when driving your rental car, or other motorized vehicle on Aruba’s streets. The traffic system rules and regulations are pretty similar to those in the United States and Europe, but there may be a couple of differences you may be unaware of. Whilst in the US, a driver may make a right turn on a red light when there are no approaching vehicles, in Aruba this is forbidden. You may not proceed until the light turns to green.
